1. Essential session cookie
The website uses a session identifier cookie (buddy_web_session) to keep administrative and Discord account sessions, security tokens and protected forms working. The cookie is HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax and is Secure when the site is accessed using HTTPS. Do not run authentication over unencrypted HTTP in production.
2. Language preference
The language is determined by the current page URL (/en for English and the root URL for Czech). It does not require an advertising or analytics cookie.
3. Local preferences
Some interface elements, such as dismissed notices, may use the browser's local storage. These preferences are not required for ad tracking. Your browser lets you clear cookies and local storage at any time.
4. Analytics and external media
Buddy measures anonymous aggregated visits at the application level rather than using third-party advertising trackers. Discord sign-in transfers you to Discord only after you select the sign-in action. External links are subject to those services' practices. Verify any additional analytics tools or embedded services before updating this policy.
5. Managing storage
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking essential session cookies may prevent signing in, using the admin panel or sending forms. The operator should review this notice when new tools are integrated.
